The University of Ilorin has appointed a new Bursar, following the Governing Council’s 186th meeting held on Wednesday, October 24th, 2024.
A statement by Mansur Adeleke Alfanla, Registrar and Secretary to Council confirmed the appointment.
Mr. Abiodun Lawal, formerly a Deputy Bursar, was approved as the new substantive Bursar, effective November 1st, 2024, for a five-year tenure.
“This appointment aligns with the provisions of the University Miscellaneous Act.
“The Governing Council considered the report of the Selection Board on the Appointment of Principal Officers before making this decision,” Alfanla stated.
