Weeks after dedicating a diamond chain to his late mum, Nigerian singer, Charles Enebeli, famously known as Dprince, has shown his humanitarian side with the launch of The Charles Enebeli Foundation which he said aims to give back and empower Nigerians.
In a post on his Instagram page, the CEO of Jonzing World record label said that the humanitarian foundation marks the birth of something bigger than himself.
He wrote; “Today isn’t just my birthday—it’s the start of a new chapter. As I reflect on these blissful years, I’ve learned that giving isn’t about how much we have but how much we care. Even the smallest kindness can spark change in ways we may never see.
This new dawn feels especially meaningful because it marks the birth of something bigger than myself—The Charles Enebeli Foundation, a dream born from my desire to give back, empower humanity, and change lives. Here’s to new beginnings, a life of purpose, and uplifting humanity!”
According to the foundation’s website, its focus is rooted in the deep belief in the dignity, strength, and potential of every human being. It further states that its mission goes beyond just providing aid, stretching into empowering people to live with hope, joy, and the opportunity to thrive. We are committed to transforming lives, rebuilding communities, and fostering a world where no one is left behind.
Some of its key areas of operation include health, education, economic empowerment, human rights, disaster relief, climate action, community engagement, child protection, family support, advocacy and good governance
In September, Dprince has dedicated an exquisite diamond neckpiece to his late mother. As a way of remembering her, the singer commissioned the neckpiece, tagged ‘The Mothership’ to his late mother whom he described as the most extraordinary woman he has ever known.
