I bring you good news that will put a smile on your face; good news that will transform your life. Hear me now, your period of bondage is over! Your period of blindness and darkness is over! Today God has come to save you.

In Jeremiah 31:7-9 the Lord God declares, “Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and raise shouts for the chief of the nations; proclaim, give praise, and say, ‘The Lord has saved his people, the remnant of Israel.’ Child of God, you are among the remnant that God has saved! Begin t rejoice! Begin to celebrate! Your captivity is over!

The Lord further declares, “Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the farthest parts of the earth, among them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her who is in travail, together; a great company, they shall return here.” Interestedly, the blind are among the returnees.

No wonder! In the gospel of Mark 10:46-52 our Lord Jesus Christ opened the eyes of the blind. “As Jesus was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Many rebuked him, telling him to be silent; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” And they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart; rise, he is calling you.” And throwing off his cloak he sprang up and came to Jesus. And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Master, let me receive my sight.” And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way. This amazing!

Child of God, it is your turn to receive! Be ready to receive your sight. Be ready to receive your vision. I pull out every veil that is covering your sight. I declare you free from blindness and from the forces of darkness.

Psalm 126 is a song of thanksgiving and Restoration. “When the Lord brought back the exiles of Sion, we thought we were dreaming.” Child of God, are you not surprise? Have you ever seen where a blind man as restored without any medication? God is great! As you remain connected to Him, He will continue to surprise you!

With the surprise, the Psalmist declares, “Then was our mouth filled with laughter; on our tongues, songs of joy.” Child of God, your period of weeping is over! No more tears! No more sorrows! From today, your mouth will full of laughter.

Then the nations themselves said, “What great deeds the Lord worked for them!” What great deeds the Lord worked for us! Indeed, we were glad. Child of God, people will hear your testimony. Those who thought you will never make will see you making it. And all those who are looking down on you will soon look up to you.

Finally, “Those who are sowing in tears will sing when they reap. They go out, they go out, full of tears, bearing seed for the sowing; they come back, they come back with a song, bearing their sheaves. And this will be your portion
