October 22, (THEWILL) – The Super Falcons commenced preparations on Tuesday, for their upcoming international friendly matches against Algeria at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena. Head Coach, Justine Madugu, confirmed the arrival of all 25 invited players to the training camp.

Inclement weather conditions in Lagos forced the squad to modify their training schedule, redirecting their session to indoor facilities at Eko Hotel & Towers. The team participated in gym activities as an alternative to their planned field practice.

The Nigerian side will face Algeria in two matches scheduled for Saturday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 29, with both fixtures beginning at 4pm. The Algerian delegation, comprising 35 members, is expected to arrive on Thursday via Qatar Airways.

Match officials from Benin Republic will oversee both encounters. Aurore Christine Ligan will referee the first match, supported by Nafissatou Yekini Shitou, Sonia Emilie Louis, and Laurande Offin. The second match will see Offin taking the central role, with Ligan serving as fourth official.

The Nigeria Football Federation maintains responsibility for appointing match commissioners for both fixtures.
