Portable tags Very Dark Man as ‘unfortunate people’, begs Don Jazzy for help (Video)

Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has lashed out at the founder of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, after social media activist, Martin Otse, alias VeryDarkMan revealed that the music mogul donated N100 million to his newly launched Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

In a video posted on Instagram, Portable, blasted VDM saying he is fighting for himself and not for Nigerians as he often portrays.

The Zazzu hit maker went on to plead with Don Jazzy to also bless him financially instead of using his success to motivate his label signees, claiming that he had reached out to Don Jazzy in the past for financial assistance to no avail.

He rounded it up by saying Don Jazzy should stop giving money to unfortunate people but to the less privileged because he (Portable) is also less privileged who has been helping others as well.

Speaking in both English and Yoruba, Portable said:

“My fans, do not let them deceive you. Someone who said he is fighting for Nigeria is actually fighting for himself. That is why I am fighting for myself. My fans please ask them to send me money too.

“I am less privileged and I also bless the less privileged. Do not send money to an unfortunate person, send money to a fortunate person. Don Jazzy, do not use me to motivate your signees, bless me, help me. I need help.

“Do not use me to motivate your signees saying ‘can you not see the way Portable is doing’ and you did not help Portable. I message you on Instagram, you did not reply and you are using me to motivate. Please do not use me to motivate only, help me. Send millions to me too. Help me too, stop making donations to unfortunate people.”
