Ogun dep gov, MUSWEN president, others to grace turbaning of Odogbolu Chief Imam Sunday

THE deputy governor of Ogun State, Alhaja Noimot Salako-Oyedele; the president of the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN), Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo and other dignitaries are expected to grace the installation of Sheikh AbdulMojeed AbdulHameed as the Chief Imam of Odogbolu Muslim Community on Sunday.

Popular preacher, Sheikh Muyideen Bello, will be the guest speaker at the event which will be held at Odogbolu Central Mosque, by 11am.

Other dignitaries expected to attend the event, which has the Asiwaju Musulumi of Odogbolu and chairman of the Central Working Committee of Odogbolu Central Mosque, Alhaji Thabit ‘Wale Sonaike, as the chief host, include the president of the League of Imams and Alfas in Yorubaland, Sheikh Jamiu Bello Kewulere and the Alaye of Odogbolu, Oba Adedeji Onagoruwa.

A statement issued from the United Kingdom and signed by Mr AbdulWaheed Muritala on behalf of the Muritala family of Ilobu, Osun State, congratulated Sheikh AbdulHameed and prayed Allah to guide him on the task ahead.
