Gov Bago attends wedding of transport commissioner, Hadiza Idris

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, attended the wedding Fatiha of Hajiya Hadiza Idris Kuta, the Commissioner for Transport, and Alhaji Mamman Musa Bosso, former Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development.

The ceremony took place at the Minna Central Mosque, where the governor served as the Father of the Bride.

During the event, Governor Bago offered advice to the newlyweds, emphasizing the importance of adhering to Islamic principles in their marriage and praying for Allah’s blessings upon their union.

The wedding Fatiha was presided over by Malam Jibril Isah, the Deputy Chief Imam of Minna Central Mosque, who officially pronounced Hajiya Hadiza and Mamman Musa Bosso as husband and wife after confirming the payment of N150,000 as the bride price.

He also led special prayers for a happy and fulfilling marriage, urging the couple to uphold the tenets of Islam throughout their life together.

The ceremony attracted a notable gathering, including the State Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Usman Abubakar Gawu, the immediate past Deputy Governor, Alhaji Mohammed Ahmed Ketso, various commissioners, top government officials, and the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umaru Faruk Bahago, among other well-wishers.
