As part activities to mark this year’s International Code Week, Quearex Tech Empowerment Foundation, with support from Orixine Consulting and other partners, have launched an innovative robotics and AI coding session in Government Senior Secondary (GSS) School in Kubwa, Abuja.
Blueprint report that the two-day session was aimed at equipping young minds with the skills to thrive in a tech-driven world and provide students with hands-on experience in artificial intelligence (AI) and coding.
The Director General of Quearex Tech Empowerment Foundation, Sunday Agbo, explained that the initiative was designed to inspire creativity, foster problem-solving skills, and promote teamwork among participants as they engage in activities that demonstrate the fundamentals of robotics and coding.
He said their goal was to inspire a new generation of Nigerian students to think critically and creatively about technology.
He further explained that by giving them a foundational understanding of AI and robotics, “we aim to ignite a passion for learning and open up exciting new career possibilities.”
“As the world increasingly embraces technology, we believe it is crucial to ensure that Nigerian students are equipped to participate fully in this digital age. We are committed to providing the tools, guidance, and support they need to develop their talents and solve real-world challenges,” he said.
Also speaking, the Executive Director of Orixine Consulting, Barr. Audu Arome, emphasised the importance of partnerships in achieving sustainable impact in technology education, stating, “Orixine Consulting is proud to support Quearex Tech Empowerment Foundation in this transformative event.
