Sweden Visit: Shettima Explores Green Transport Solutions At Scania HQ

Nigeria’s Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima is currently visiting the headquarters of Scania, a leading global manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles and engines in Södertälje.

Shettima’s visit to Sweden which is  scheduled to conclude on Saturday, marks a significant step in Nigeria’s efforts to modernize its transport sector through cleaner, more efficient solutions.

During his visit, the Vice President engaged in high-level discussions with Scania’s senior executives, including Mr Fredrik Wijkander of the Scania Group.

The talks centered on exploring biofuel technology and other green transport solutions that can be adopted in Nigeria.

The meeting with the Sweden’s investors aligns with President Tinubu’s vision of reducing Nigeria’s reliance on traditional fossil fuels and pushing for cleaner alternatives like Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and biofuels.
