Subsidy removal: Tinubu sleeps by 5am, deserves credit – Sunday Dare

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Public Communications and Orientation, Sunday Dare, believes his principal deserves credit for removing fuel subsidies despite the challenges it poses.

According to Dare, Tinubu’s tireless efforts to reform the country and keep his campaign promises warrant recognition.

He made the assertion while featuring on Channel TV’s Politics Today on Thursday.

He described Tinubu as a diligent leader who often works late into the night, even until 4, 5, or 6 in the morning.

“Tinubu is adept at governance. [He is] a man who burns the midnight oil when other men of easy virtue are carousing around.

“This is a man I worked with for seven years and we sleep at 4, 5, 6 in the morning,” Dare said.

Dare’s statement comes after protests in August and October, where Nigerians expressed their dissatisfaction with the harsh economic conditions resulting from the subsidy removal and other policies.
