Shell Picks MD For Subsidiary

Shell has appointed Ronald Adams as managing director for its deep-water subsidiary, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo).

A statement by the company explained that Adams, formerly chief executive officer of Atlantic LNG, Trinidad and Tobago, took over from Elohor Aiboni, who proceeded on international assignment to Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) as asset director.

Adams is a veteran of the energy industry, having successfully guided both Shell operated and nonoperated ventures through commercial and technical challenges.

He obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in chemical engineering from the University of the West Indies and an Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in strategic planning from Herriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Country Chair, Shell Com – panies in Nigeria, Osagie Okunbor, said: “I’m pleased to welcome Ronald to Nigeria to consolidate and further improve the outstanding performances of SNEPCo in deep-water production and lifechanging social investments across Nigeria.”
