Reddit users experienced another disruption, marking the second outage in the last two days. Reports indicate that 56% of the issues stemmed from the Reddit app, 31% were related to the website, and 13% involved server connection errors.
Frustrated users flocked to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm the outage and share their thoughts. One user remarked, “Looks like reddit is going down again. Anybody else having problems?”
Another commented, “comes to twitter to see if reddit is down or if it’s just my phone.” A third added, “Of course Reddit is down when I’m in the middle of a heated post.”
Many expressed their annoyance, with one stating, “Reddit being down means my posts are missing out on potential traffic and upvotes and karma. This is literally the worst day of my life.”
Another quipped, “I guess Reddit is down. How else am I supposed to waste time looking at cat and guinea pig pictures?”
The official @redditstatus account on X addressed the issue, saying, “Investigating: We are currently investigating a problem with our site.”
As Reddit worked to resolve the problem, users continued to voice their frustrations and humorously lament the platform’s unavailability.
