A stalwarts of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), from Cross Rivers State, Ambassador Ojong Agbor, has vowed to keep impacting positively on the society, as he bagged a Doctorate Degree from American Management University, California, at the Great Achievers Summit and Award of Excellence 2024.
Agbor, who spoke after he received the honorary doctorate degree, described it as an opportunity to work harder and touch more lives, said it was a great privilege to be so recognized at that level.
He was conferred with a Doctorate Degree from American Management University, California, at the Great Achievers Summit and Award of Excellence 2024, organized by Great Achievers Initiative for Youth and Community Development led by Dr. Hillary Akpua.
The conferment ceremony, held in Abuja at the Transcorp Hilton, was in recognition of Agbor’s outstanding work in pioneering leadership and community development.
Addressing newsmen after the ceremony, Agbor expressed his gratitude for the honorary Doctorate award, stating that it was a privilege to receive the recognition.
“I won’t take it for granted, it’s an opportunity to work harder, an opportunity to touch more lives and to also employ as many as possible to expand the good work.
“We are recognized because of what we are doing and the lives we touch in society. We are going to push further to be the best in the world.
“We appreciate this honorary Doctorate award today and we know we’ll attract more in future,” he said.
The conferment ceremony was part of the Great Achievers Summit and Award of Excellence 2024 organized by Great Achievers Initiative for Youth and Community Development (GAIYD), led by Dr Hillary Akpua. It had the theme for this year as “Shaping the future leadership of our society.”
Other awardees include Dr. Joy Victor Osazuwa, Dr. Engr. Okonkwo Ifeanyi Christian, Dr. Chief Patrick Chukwudi Adilo, Dr. Hajiya Hadiza Gana Mohammed, Dr. Mathew Chibueze Ezeouyia, Dr. Yusuf Aminu Adado, Dr. Nnagoziwom Arinze David Chukwueto and Dr Yusha’u Shehu Umar.
