…Say It Can’t Address Hardship In The Country

ABUJA / LAGOS – Desperate Abuja residents have thronged the subsidised rice payment and collection points in a bid to buy 50kg of rice at N40,000.

Our correspondent observed that the process of making payment electronically and collection of treasury receipt as evidence of payment to the government coffers has become chaotic and extremely difficult to manage by the officials saddled with the responsibility at the headquarters of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), Abuja.

A message from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, last Sunday, directed the public to proceed to the National Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC Building by ChurchGate Tower) with their Identity cards, National Identification Number (NIN), and ATM cards to register and pay for the subsidised rice.

After payment, they are proceed to Central Business Area, Beside First Bank Branch by NNPC Tower, for collection of the subsidised rice.
