The Assembly of Traditional Religion Worshippers in Ondo State has congratulated Governor Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his victory in the state’s just-concluded governorship election.
It also used the occasion of the celebration of Olokun Festival to pray for a successful second term in office for the governor.
The Assembly appeals to the Ondo state government to recognize and develop the Araromi Sea side as a tourists centre being the largest and longest coaster area in Nigeria.
The traditional religion Worshippers also implore the traditional obas to do what is right and just while on the throne.
The Assembly, which celebrates Olókun 2024 festival at Araromi Sea side, in ilaje Esedo Area of Ondo state under the leadership of Chief Oso Adéwálé, the Araba Iwaro Ọkà Akoko attracted all isese worshippers all over Ondo state.
The celebration is an annual festival in which they offer to Olókun and pray for individuals and progress of Ondo state .
During the festival, the Alara of Araromi Sea side who was physically present, praised the efforts of the organization in bringing back ancestral’s lost glory by coming together to pray and make offerings to Olókun on behalf of Ondo state people.
The king also used the opportunity to pray for the newly elected governor of Ondo state Lucky Ayedatiwa.

On his own part, Araba Oso Adewale, the President of the Assembly of Traditional Religion Worshippers in Ondo state, emphasizes the importance of the need to celebrate the Olókun festival, noting that all the resources of the world can be found inside the sea.
This resources, according to him are being governed by Olókun as Orisa Olodumare created to control the sea, which is a powerful Orisa that brought wealth to his children.
