Nigerian players across the top leagues are set to return to club action this weekend following the October international break, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

Premier League

In the English Premier League, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey are guaranteed starters for Fulham when they host Aston Villa on Saturday. The Nigerian duo will be looking to build on their recent form, having helped Fulham secure a 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in their last outing.

Fulham have been solid at home this season, picking up seven of their 11 Premier League points at Craven Cottage. They will be aiming to climb into the top half of the table with a positive result against Villa.
