Nickelodeon celebrated the second season of Dora with 1,800 pinatas at the 78th Annual East Los Angeles Mexican Independence Day Parade.
The children’s cable network’s contribution to the parade set a Guinness World Record with 1,800 pinatas of various shapes, colours, and sizes.
Diana Zermeño, the voice of Dora in the series, was a co-grand marshal of the parade.
Dora, a CG-animated reboot of Nickelodeon’s Dora The Explorer, premiered its second season on Paramount+ on Friday. The first season debuted on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channel on Monday.
