Kwankwaso vows to strengthen NNPP for 2027 elections

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, pledged on Friday to strengthen all state chapters of the party to become more formidable in preparation for both local government elections and the 2027 general elections.

During his official visit to the Osun State NNPP Secretariat in Osogbo, Kwankwaso emphasised that the party is committed to solidifying its structure and ensuring it remains resilient and determined to outsmart other political parties in upcoming elections.

He reiterated that there is no turning back in efforts to enhance the NNPP’s political influence nationwide.

According to him, “Various reports from each state, especially, Osun, are giving me joy as the national leader. We are not unaware of the challenges ahead of us towards 2027 but we are prepared.”

“Nigerians have so far realised that various leaders we have been having are intentionally using poverty to improvise citizens to cajole them again in 2027 with crumbs.

“NNPP, as a party, have good intentions for the masses. We have started mobilising people all over. We are equipping our state secretariats and we are also providing them with vehicles to ease their movement.”

Represented by a 3-man committee; Dr. Rahila Aliyu Mukhtar, Dr. Muhammad S. Khalil and Alhaji Abdusalam Abdulateef, Senator Kwankwaso, maintained that, there was the need to make the state chapters vibrant for an effective administration.

He however stressed that NNPP is not losing its guard as one of the major opposition parties in Nigeria and it is ready to deliver Nigerians from the present economic quagmire being experienced.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Osun state chairman of NNPP, Dr Tosin Odeyemi, eulogised Kwankwaso for being a leader who takes as paramount the welfare of his members.

Odeyemi noted that the presence of Senator Kwankwaso in NNPP made the party a better one whose effect is being felt throughout Nigeria and beyond.

He thanked the committee that represented Kwankwaso, most especially, Dr. Rahila Aliyu Mukhtar for the feminine role she took effectively during the visit.

Odeyemi however promised not to rest on his oars, together with his working committee, in making the party a beautiful bride among the citizens of the state.
