JUST IN: PDP BOT Meets National Assembly Caucus To Save Party From Disintegration

ABUJA – As the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continued to heighten with no end in sight, the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the party, led by its Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara on Wednesday met with the party National Assembly Caucus to save PDP from disintegration.

Recall that PDP has been dogged by internal crisis since it lost the 2023 presidential election, a development that has polarized the party.

The party has not only been polarized but the crisis has also divided the National Working Committee (NWC), where one side is supporting the former governor of Rivers state and Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

However, to save the party from disintegration, the BoT and the National Assembly Caucus is presently meeting at the PDP presidential campaign office, Legacy House, in Abuja.

At the meeting are; Wabara, the BoT Secretary, Ahmed Makarfi, Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Lere Oyewumi, House of Representatives Minority Whip, Hon. Ali Isa JC, and Hon. Pastor Ojema Ojotu amongst others.
