LAGOS – On Friday, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) revealed that they had successfully recovered N4 billion within the last 24 hours.

The chairman of the ICPC, Musa Aliyu, revealed this information during his address at the one-day National Anti-Corruption Coalition (NACC) Members Hybrid Interactive Forum.

He mentioned that the recovered N4 billion was traced back to public officials who had illicitly moved the funds from the Nigerian government’s accounts into private ones.

Aliyu reassured Nigerians that the ICPC aims to minimize corruption by incorporating Artificial Intelligence into its operations.

He emphasized the impartiality and effectiveness of technology in addressing challenges.

Aliyu affirmed the commission’s dedication to promoting good governance and standing firm against any attempts at intimidation.
