Liberty Gospel Church founder, Helen Ukpabio, has accused musician Bloody Civilian of falsely accusing her and has demanded N200 billion in damages from the singer.

According to Bloody Civilian, whose real name is Emoseh Khamofu, Ukpabio “literally made people burn their children alive” earlier on Friday. The cleric’s 60th birthday was celebrated in a post that Khamofu remarked on.

She also posted a documentary that questioned Ukpabio’s methods and philosophy on YouTube. Imabong, Khamofu’s daughter, responded to her tweet by threatening to sue her if she didn’t take it down.

“I give you the next five hours to take this down, or I will educate you in court!” Imabong wrote.

But in a letter from her legal representative, Ukpabio described the allegations as “reckless, satanic, and libellous”.

She insisted that the singer retract her statement and apologize publicly on all social media sites and post apologies in ten national and international newspapers within seventy-two hours.

The musician was also asked to pay N200 billion in “damages for distress, trauma, pain, and anguish. The demands must be met within 72 hours,” the letter added.

Following an investigation, the police determined that the accusations were “grossly false,” she said.

“Our client’s attention has been drawn to your reckless, satanic, and libellous posts on X (formerly Twitter), one of the world’s largest social media platforms,” the letter reads in part.

In response to the letter, Blood Civilian ridiculed it by hinting that in order to pay for the damages, she is providing other services, such as comedy.

“This December I will be adding the following to my services: weddings, standup comedy and settling disputes,” she wrote.
