Hausa Residents Flee Aladja As Irate Youths Avenge Gruesome Murder Of Indigene

UGHELLI – Members of Huasa communty in Aladja town, Udu Council Area of Delta State are fleeing their homes following gruesome murder of an Aladja indigene landlord by an Huasa Tennant .

Aladja youths in a swift reaction lynched the Hausa tennant who attacked his unsuspecting landlord behind with a matchete. The deceased landlord, an Aladja indigene on 20th November,2024 was said to have had an issue with his tenant over payment of rent along the popular College Road.

Independent that the tenant allegedly beheaded his unsuspecting landlord from behind and that irate residents of Aladja Community waisted no time in executing jungle justice on the suspect as they lynched him.

It was gathered that few Hausa born residents in the community paid for the crime of their country man with their dears lives and the lucky ones were evicted From the ancient community of Udu by angered indigenes .

Meanwhile it was further learnt that combined government security agents have been drafted to the area to avoid escalation of the crisis

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident but however added that the Hausa born tenant was suspected to be under the influence of drugs.
