Gov Radda Records Success Against Insecurity With KCWC Of 1,466 Personnel — Arewa

ABUJA – Arewa New Frontier (ANF) has disclosed the strategy deployed by the governor of Katsina state, Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda, to address insecurity and the men­ace of bandits in the state.

Specifically, Arewa New Frontier disclosed that the establishment of the Katsi­na Community Watch Corps (KCWC) with 1,466 well-trained personnel deployed to the most affected local government areas in the state has help to neutralize notorious terrorist leader identi­fied as Sani Waka Burki and his foot soldiers terrorizing Safana and Batsari Local Government Areas (LGAs).

Disclosing this at a press con­ference in Abuja on Sunday, the General Secretary of the group, Mohammed Ibn Abdulsalami noted the giant stride of the gov­ernor in addressing insecurity in the state is paying off.

Commending the governor, Arewa New Frontier said, “with remarkable courage, daring spirit, and strategic foresight, he immediately declared war against these criminals and ene­mies of progress by implement­ing comprehensive security measures that have transformed our state’s security atmosphere.

“The establishment of the Katsina Community Watch Corps validates His Excellen­cy’s innovative approach to community policing. With 1,466 well-trained personnel already deployed and an additional 500 members being trained for the most affected local government areas, the KCWC has become a model for other states.
