Gov Idris Mourns District Head Of Kola

BIRNIN-KEBBI – Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has condoled the families of late district head of Kola and Ubankasar Kola, Alhaji Hassan DND who passed away after a brief illness in Birnin Kebbi.

The Governor, in a statement signed by his special adviser on Communication and strategy, Alhaji Abdullahi Idris Zuru stated that, Idris also extend deep condolence message to Gwandu emirate particularly the emir of Gwandu, Muhammadu Illiyasu Bashar and chairman Kebbi state council of chiefs over the irreparable lost of a dedicated district head who served the emirate and his subjects diligently during his reign as their monarch “we received with rude shock the news of his death and we are mourning him along with Gwandu emirate we pray to Allah to admit him in Janna.”

Before his death, Hassan DND was an astute teacher, a business man, a scholar in both western and Islamic education before he was turbaned by the emir of Gwandu as Galadiman Kola to oversee royal activities in Kola district, Hassan was a mediator and a peace ambassador as he was known for conflict resolution between couples and as well negotiated peace between farmers and herders at Kola district.

Late Hassan was survived by his wives, children and grand children he will be missed for his high sense of humour and his reservoir of history may his soul rest in perfect peace.
