Gombe gov celebrates Muazu Muhammad’s promotion as NSCDC Commandant

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed delight over the promotion of Muazu Muhammad (Dan Majen Waja) to the rank of Commandant in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

An illustrious son of Gombe State, from Balanga Local Government Area, Commandant Mu’azu Muhammad, got promoted recently following the release of the 2024 Senior Officers’ promotion by the Civil Defence, Corrections, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) in acknowledgement of his exemplary service, dedication, and leadership in the Corps.

In his congratulatory statement, Inuwa Yahaya commended the officer’s career trajectory, which has positioned him as a role model for future officers in Gombe State.

According to him, “Your promotion is a source of pride for the people of Gombe. It shows the values of hard work and professionalism, both of which are key to enhancing security and development in our society.”

Inuwa Yahaya assured the Dan Majen Waja of the solidarity, support, and goodwill of the government and people of Gombe State.

He, however, urged him to use his new position to further strengthen his contributions to national security efforts, as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General, ( Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
