Fountain university awards scholarships to 190 students

Fountain University has announced its intention to award scholarships to 190 students across various departments, marking a significant increase from last year’s awards.

The private institution announced in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Taoheed Alimi, that the program will take place on Monday, December 2nd.

According to him, “This significant milestone marks a substantial increase from last year’s inaugural scholarship awards, where over 50 students received scholarships,” with 28 students, including 17 studying Arabic and Islamic Studies.

Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Olayinka Karim, Fountain University has demonstrated a strong dedication to promoting scholarship and academic achievement.

According to the statement, the Vice Chancellor while making the announcement said, “We are delighted to facilitate scholarships generously provided by five distinguished donors for over 150 students, in addition to the university’s commitment to supporting its scholars. Fountain University remains deeply committed to ensuring access to quality tertiary education for all students,”

“These scholarships will enable our students to focus on their studies, pursue their passions, and make meaningful contributions to their communities,” she added.
