November 23, (THEWILL) – Ethiopian Airlines Group has been named “Airline of the Year – Global Operations” for the eighth time at the African Airlines Association 56th Annual General Assembly and Summit in Cairo, Egypt.
The award, which recognises excellence in service delivery, innovation, and competitiveness, celebrates the achievements of airlines, individuals, and service providers within Africa’s aviation industry.
EA was commended for its remarkable performance, including impressive profitability for the financial year ending June 2023, innovative cargo services, cooperation with other carriers, and a robust route network connecting Africa to the rest of the world.
Speaking at the ceremony, EA Group CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, expressed his gratitude.
