Guardiola spoke ahead of Man City’s EFL Cup game against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.
Ten Hag was recently sacked by Manchester United on Monday, a day after he led the Red Devils to a 2-1 defeat to West Ham United in the Premier League.
