Kaduna state Police Command has intensified operation to tackle crime across the state during the ember months, as it has raided criminals blackspot, arresting over 350.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Abdullahi, asserted this while parading some of the suspects at the Command headquarters on Monday.
According to him, among those apprehended are suspects involved in phone snatching and members of the Sara Suka gang.
He added that the Command also recovered five AK47 Rifles, two pistols, one submachine gun (SMG), 283 Rustled Cows and 20 Sheep, 105 Rounds of Live Ammunition, and 102 kidnapping victims.
CP Ibrahim Abdullahi explained that further, the achievement demonstrated a firm commitment to improving public safety and reducing crime during this critical period.
The CP stressed that since he assumed office, he prioritized Proactive Policing, Community Engagement, and Collaboration with other Security Agencies to ensure the safety and security of all residents of Kaduna State.
According to him, the major success recorded through the strategies was the arrested of 523 suspects involved in various criminal activities, which includes 26 kidnappers, 12 Cattle Rustlers, 97 Phone Snatchers, 17 Car Snatchers, and 10 Rape Suspects, amongst others.

The Command, according to him also recovered: Five (5) AK47 Rifles, Two (2) Pistols, One (1) Submachine Gun (SMG), 283 Rustled Cows and 20 Sheep, 105 Rounds of Live Ammunition, and 102 Kidnap victims were rescued.
CP Ibrahim Abdullahi highlighted the major operations conducted by the Command including The foiled kidnapping, the rescue of 89 victims, the recovery of one fabricated AK 47 Riffle, and five Live ammunition on 24 November 2024.
“Arrest of a suspected Gun runner and recovery of one SMG on 13 November 2024.
“Arrest of Two – man syndicate cell phone thieves on 20th November 2024, Recovery of a stolen vehicle and arrest of six suspects in connection to it on 27th October 2024,” he said.
