Delta state government has given the assurance that in collaboration with security agencies and Tantita Security services, it will fish out the perpetrators who at the weekend vandalized the NNPCL/Chevron Oil facility – the Dibi Abiteye Flow Station in Warri North local government area of the state and bring them to book.
Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, in a statement on Monday, said: “Government reassures Chevron Nigeria Limited and other oil operating companies of our continuous support and commitment to their successful operations in Delta State. We also solicit the support of host communities in identifying and clamping down on the offenders.
“The State government shall not hesitate to deal decisively with anyone or group of persons/criminals who are out to sabotage government’s resolve to sustain the current tempo of oil exploration in the state.”
