The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has joined in celebrating the birthday of Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.

In a statement signed by Archbishop Daniel Okoh, President of CAN, the association expressed its heartfelt wishes for her continued health, happiness, and success in her leadership role.

Archbishop Okoh acknowledged Mrs. Tinubu’s dedication to various social causes, particularly her contributions to agriculture, women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, and philanthropy.

“Her efforts in these critical sectors reflect a deep understanding of the challenges facing our nation,” he noted, praising her work in addressing important societal issues.

However, Archbishop Okoh also highlighted the urgent challenges facing many Nigerians today, such as rising inflation, insecurity, and the ongoing struggle for basic necessities.

He urged the First Lady to continue her advocacy for the marginalized and voiceless, hoping her influence will foster positive change and a more prosperous Nigeria for all. “As we honour her, let us reflect on our collective responsibility to uplift one another and work towards a brighter future,” he added.

CAN concluded by wishing Mrs. Tinubu a fulfilling year ahead and encouraging her to use her position to inspire greater national unity and development.
