Leaders of the Ardova Premier Handball League, Tojemarine Academy on Thursday defeated Adamawa Warriors 44-25 to record their second win in the second phase of the 2024 season which began on Wednesday in Lagos.
Tojemarine, who are leading the pack in the men’s category had beaten Correction Boys 35-27 on Wednesday and underlined their desire to lift their first title with the big win over the Warriors from Yola.
Tojemarine dominated the game and scored from most of the chances that came their way, while Coach Adewunmi Shittu was on his feet dishing out instructions to his wards despite his team’s dominance.
The Yola side tried to curtail the foray of Tojemarine but it was to no avail as the leaders continued to find ways to open up the Warriors’ defence at will.

The Strikers looked good throughout the game and gave their opponents no breathing space in the encounter.
