A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Chief Gbenga Eleduma, has expressed his optimism about Governor Aiyedatiwa’s ability to transform the state, highlighting his vision and leadership qualities.
Eleduma made this statement during a party hosted in Owo, Ondo State, to celebrate Aiyedatiwa’s re-election.
He emphasised that APC’s victory in the recent polls was a clear reflection of the party’s deep roots in Ondo State and the growing popularity of Governor Aiyedatiwa.
The victory party, which saw attendance from top APC figures, including the local government party chairman, Mr Samuel Olusanya Balogun, and other key executives, showcased the party’s robust presence in the state.
Traditional rulers were also in attendance, including the Asuada of Isuada, Oba Joel Adeluwoye, and the Olupenmen of Upenmen, further adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
In his remarks, the APC chairman of the council, Samuel Balogun, praised Eleduma for his significant contributions to the community, noting his role in organising the victory party.
“Eleduma has been instrumental in promoting the party and the welfare of our members,” Balogun said. “I must say that I came to this gathering because of him. He is a philanthropist who has become a rallying point for the youth in the local government.”
The Isuada traditional ruler, Oba Joel Adeluwoye, also commended Eleduma for his impactful interventions in the Owo community, calling him “a blessing to the entire Owo community.”
“His contributions to the council earned him the title of ‘Aare Asoludero’ of Isuada,” the Oba remarked.
The Vice Chairman of Owo Local Government, Oluwole Olugbode, who also serves as the local government youth leader, praised Eleduma’s tireless efforts in promoting youth development in the area. He commended Eleduma’s commitment to empowering young people, highlighting the significant impact of his work on the community.
