Afrobeat sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has received an extraordinary birthday gift as he marked his 32nd birthday today.
The Nigerian-born owner of Mr. Jay Autos LLC, a Dallas-based auto dealership, presented the singer with a brand-new Escalade 600 premium luxury car to celebrate the occasion.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Mr. Jay Autos LLC posted images of the sleek vehicle alongside a heartfelt caption that read, “On your birthday, our brand, Mr. Jay Autos LLC has decided to gift you this new Escalade 600 premium luxury.
“We appreciate your patronage and love for the brand. Happy birthday Oriade #davido, cheers to many more years. Shipping this out immediately to your desired location.”
Overwhelmed by the thoughtful gesture, Davido expressed his gratitude in the comments, saying, “Wow Love uuuuuuu.”
Tribune Online reports that Davido who earlier on Monday announced plans to donate N300 million to charity in commemoration of his birthday has been receiving encomiums from celebrities and friends on his birthday.
In commemoration of the day, the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke joined some popular Nigerian celebrities and fans of music stars to celebrate the ‘Awuke’ crooner at 32.
